We first ran into Hurl Everstone; a hardcore cyclist, tourer, and adventurer who also happens to be the contributing editor of the ever so popular adventure x outdoor destination;
GearJunkie.com, at Interbike in Las Vegas last year. He was one of the first to see our Bicycle Tour Camping Tent and also the first to let the world know that
" Sometimes you can still find innovation on the edges of the Interbike show floor."
The NSR RIDING Bicycle Tour Camping Tent was developed for the growing and passionate bicycle tour enthusiasts as well as the casual outdoorsy types.
As the world's first tent with full bicycle storage capabilities; users would never have to leave their bicycles outside to the elements and also help to deter theft.
Portability and the spacial requirements were also paramount - where the entire tent would fit into the included saddle pannier bag and all weighing under 5 lbs.
We kept tabs with Hurl ever since until the product release and after getting to know him and his lifestyle (he lives and breathes this stuff!),
we realized that he was the perfect prototype in which we developed these tents.
With his passion for bicycles, the outdoor life and adventuring x touring (see his amazing adventures in Columbia last year); there was no better person to test our bicycle tent.
This of course came with much risk for us as the destiny of two years of development at NSR RIDING hinged on this expert of all things bikes and the #outdoorlife,
but we needed to find out what Hurl's thoughts on our tent was.
It's almost been a year since he first saw the tent to the time of the review, but all the wait was certainly worth it!
I rolled out of my south Minneapolis apartment on a Friday night in search of a little clandestine bike camping within city limits.
My sleeping partner for the night would be my bike, inside the tent with me.
I knew it wouldn’t fall over and wake me up in the middle of the night, thanks to the Bicycle Tour Camping Tent from NSR Riding.
